The plane was brought back from the flightline, evacuated, and locked up, and the crew then watched what was probably a CIA cleaner team covertly enter the airplane through a belly-hatch, work their way through the internals of the plane until they got in the cabin through electrical hatches, and then they ran around inside pulling all the tech they had installed in the plane to monitor the progress of the hijacking out, so nobody would find it. From a few tweets like this one, it appears the airspace closure in El Paso was done by DHS, which believed it had an issue with drones from the Cartels coming over the border, and felt it was a great opportunity to try out a new directed energy laser from the Pentagon to shoot them down. On the down side most reports say they seem to have misidentified a party balloon and shot it down instead of any drones, and it is still unclear if there ever were any drones. However some accounts say they shot down drones. And Northcom/DOD is pissed as it feels DHS stepped on their toes by not folding them into the anti-drone laser action.
