المهرجان يسلط الضوء على واحد من أهم الأماكن التاريخية والسياحية في مصر وهى أبيدوس وما بها من معالم وآثار قديمة أهمها معبد الملك سيتى الأول والد الملك رمسيس الثانى
يشارك فى المهرجان ثلاثة فنانين كبار. الفنان هشام عباس والفنان على الحجار والفنان مدحت صالح

One of the oldest crafts in ancient Egypt.
It dates back to the pre-dynastic era and was done after the end of the silt-laden Nile flood season. The mud was mixed with straw (the remains of the stems of wheat and barley plants) to maintain the strength of the cohesion of the mould. After mixing, the mixed silt or clay is placed in a rectangular wooden mold in the shape of a brick mold and left to dry. It is used in construction after that.
