The tomb of the silver king
King Psusennes I
The third king of the twenty first dynasty 1046- 1001 B.C
He ruled Egypt from Tannis in the east of Delta (San El Hager- Sharkia)
He protected the Egyptian borders against any foreign attacks. He was called the silver king after his tomb was discovered in 1940 which has been found with all its treasures.
But unfortunately it hadn't been famous due to the world war. The discovery of this tomb was unexpected, it was full of fantastic jewellery.
The most famous part of the tomb is the silver coffin of the king which made of the pure silver.
The tomb of king psusennes has the same position of Tut ankh Amun's tomb in regard to its treasures.
