Egyptians celebrate The Inundation Festival every year on the 15th of August.The day commemorates the arrival of the flood water and the start of the akhet season. The Nile River played a major role in ancient Egypt in agriculture, transport, and as a source of food. The ancient Egyptians deified the Nile River and was represented by the god Hapi, god of the Nile and the annual flood.
The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat organized a cultural and heritage event entitled "Heritage of Musical Instruments”.The event sheds light on the heritage of musical instruments in Egypt, in cooperation with the Music Hall of the National Books and Documents House and the Guitar Institute of Music, with the participation of a number of Egyptian artists who play various musical instruments.

The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities and the Governor of Qena opened the Mar Girgis Monastery and the Monastery of Bishop Pisentius in Qena, after completing their restoration projects.This is part of the continuous efforts to preserve Egypt's archaeological heritage through maintenance and restoration projects that allows sites to be accessible to the public.
