"Al-Zahir Baybars" Mosque is considered the icon of Mamluk architecture in Egypt, and it is the third largest archaeological mosque in area after the Mosque of Toulon, and "Al-Hakim bi-Amr Allah".The mosque restoration project began in 2007 and stopped in 2011 until work resumed in 2018. The development process included strengthening the foundations of the columns and the pulpit, restoring some areas of the mosque to reach the original shape of the monument, restoring its marble columns, and developing the iwans of the mosque (northeast and southwest) in addition to the entrances to the iwans. The methods used until the mosque was revived again in 2023

Head from an Osiride Statue of Hatshepsut.New Kingdom ca. 1479–1458 B.C. This head originally belonged to one of the Osiride statues that were carved in high relief in niches along the rear wall of the upper terrace of Hatshepsut's temple at Deir el Bahri.Hatshepsut wears the Double Crown of Upper and Lower Egypt suggesting that the head was from a figure in one of the niches on the northern side of the terrace.These Osiride figures were architectural accents rather than freestanding statues and were carved from the same limestone blocks that were used to construct the temple itself.Displayed in The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The remains of a Coptic painting depicting the martyr "Mina Al-Ajaybi", depicting him wearing the Coptic tunic, were painted on plaster in a cell in the Qalali area "Kelia" located west of the Delta. It dates back to the period from 600 to 800 AD. It was discovered between 1964 and 1965.Displayed in the Egyptian Monuments section in the Louvre Museum in Paris, France.
