The Grand Egyptian Museum recently hosted the RiseUp Summit, which is a major entrepreneurship event in the Middle East. More than 14,000 people attended the event, where they had the opportunity to interact with over 300 speakers and 150 startups. This year's theme, #STAYREAL, emphasized the importance of practicality over idealism in achieving success. The Egyptian museum artifacts are currently being re-displayed in the various departments of the museum in the modern showcases, which are inspired in their design by the historical showcases in the museum and from the works that took place recently. Re-display of artifacts dating back to the era of the Old Kingdom, in hall 32, others dating back to the era of the New Kingdom in hall 22, and artifacts dating back to the era of the Middle Kingdom in hall 27. The re-display in the new showcases in the various sections of the museum aims to shed light on the various cultural issues expressed by the artifacts, such as the alabaster industry, the glass industry and its development, and religious thought in ancient Egypt. The work is carried out under the supervision of the Egyptian Museum’s curators in the various departments within the framework of the Egyptian Museum’s plan to develop the museum’s display.
