Details of The "waziri (1)" papyrus which was Displayed Lately in The Egyptian Museum.This papyrus Belongs to a man Called "Ahmose" and his name was written 260 Times in The papyrus.The Papyrus wad Dicovered in the Coffin of Ahmose himself.The Papyrus Dates back to the End of the Late Period and the beginning of the Ptolmaic Period.The length of the Papyrus is 16 Meter and the papyrus includes 113 Chapters From the Book of the Dead.

This head was found in the Abusir area & represents the king wearing the red crown, the crown of Lower Egypt with perfect features in terms of roundness of the face, the chin, eyebrows, and elongated eyes.
The head is made of schist . the height is 45 cm.

The first phase of the Transforming the Egyptian Museum in Cairo Project has been inaugurated. It highlights the museum’s role & mission as a cultural and educational institution.

This is the result of a joint project between the ministry and the EU, with the participation of a scientific committee comprising of Egyptologists from Egyptian universities & five major European museums, namely the Louvre, the British Museum, the Museo Egicio Turin, the Berlin and Leiden museums.
