Cruise ship "MSC WORLD EUROPA" crosses the Suez Canal
The cruise ship "MSC WORLDEUROPA" crossed, on its first cruise, the Suez Canal during its route from Spain to the United Arab Emirates.
The ship, which has a length of 333 meters and a width of 47 meters, is the first cruise ship powered by natural gas, and it can carry up to 6,782 passengers.
According to the protocol followed by the Suez Canal Authority in dealing with ships transiting the canal for the first time, officials boarded the ship and welcomed its crew, and they also presented a gift to the shipβs captain.
The Suez Canal is now able to receive ships of significant size thanks to the new Suez Canal Project, which allowed increasing the capacity of the canal and raised its global navigational classification.

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announces facilities to attract fans participating in the Qatar World Cup 2022 who hold the (Hayya) fan card.
Within the framework of the ministryβs keenness to maximize Egypt's tourism benefit from the 2022 FIFA World Cup event, a number of measures have been approved to attract fans participating in this tournament and those who hold a Hayya fan card to visit Egyptian tourist destinations during and after attending the World Cup.
Dr. Mostafa Waziri, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, announced that the Board of Directors of the Supreme Council of Antiquities agreed to grant a 50% discount to holders of the βHayyaβ fan card throughout the duration of the World Cup tournament, on fees for visiting archaeological sites and museums affiliated with the Supreme Council of Antiquities that are open for visitation.

The queen was given a guided tour of the museum and its halls. The CEO of the museum presented her majesty with souvenirs to mark the royal visit.
