The Sphinx International Airport will receive its first flights on November 1st after the completion of the development work and the increase in its capacity to one million two hundred thousand passengers annually, as Air Cairo organizes the first flight from Sharm El Sheikh Airport to Sphinx Airport.
The company is scheduled to organize 12 domestic flights per week between "Sphinx" and Sharm El-Sheikh, Luxor, and Aswan airports, and international flights will start operating in the near future.
This comes within the framework of the Ministry of Civil Aviationβs plan to stimulate air and tourism traffic, as it is one of the most important airports due to its proximity to the pyramids area and the Grand Egyptian Museum, which contributes to linking tourist cities and archaeological areas and activating one-day tourism in line with the strategic objectives of Egyptβs Vision 2030 and the achievement of the Egyptian stateβs economic development plan.

A Cartonnage mummy mask that belongs to unknown person.It dates back to the Ptolmaic Period and you will see that the Mask isn't Completed yet and you will also see that there are some places left for Writing the inscription but the Mask wasn't completed and you will see the Ba of the owner (?) of this mask praying to the Four Sons of Hor (Horus) on the Second scenes on the Mask.You will see on the First scenes Anubis with the Mummy of the Owner of this Mask.

Scarab Pectoral of Amenemopet in the form of a shrine with two lateral pillars and a hollowed molding containing the winged solar disk. In the center of the pendant there is a scarab of lapis lazuli representing the rebirth of the sun. It is flanked by the two protective goddesses, Isis and Nephthys. Below the scarab is the cartouche of the king.It dates back to the Third intermediate Period.Displayed in the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, Cairo.

The goal of the project is to encourage people to use sustainable means of transportation in the city, thus reducing traffic and air pollution.
This project is one of many sustainable initiatives the government is implementing ahead of COP27, which will be hosted in Sharm el-Sheikh.
