The Grand Egyptian Museum, estimated to open in November 2022, is going to be the largest archaeological museum complex in the world gathering more than 100,000 artifacts under one roof. The museum will display King Tut’s entire treasure collection alongside many other artifacts from ancient Egypt, Greek, and Roman eras. يعتبر كشف مقبرة سقارة في ٢٠٢٠ والتي عُثر عليها داخل آبار الدفن الموجودة بمنطقة آثار سقارة، من أهم الاكتشافات الحديثة، حيث شمل الكشف ٥٩ تابوتاً خشبيًا، بالإضافة إلى العشرات من التماثيل، والتمائم، واللقى الأثرية التي يعود تاريخها لـ2600 عام وجميعهم بحالة ممتازة.

إنجاز 99% من الأعمال الهندسية بالمتحف المصري الكبير والجدير بالذكر أنه تم الانتهاء من وضع وتثبيت القطع الأثرية لكنوز الملك توت عنخ آمون داخل ٥٧ واجهة عرض من إجمالي ١٠٧ مكان عرض مخصص لمقتنيات الملك.

Statue of Amenhotep III (Neb-Maat-Ra) and Sobek c.1390-1352 BC. Carved from Calcite (Egyptian Alabaster). Found in the Sobek temple at Dahamsha. Sobek is seated in a human form with the crocodile head and his right hand holds the Ankh giving life to the youthful Amenhotep III. The King is wearing the Nemes headdress, with the uraeus and royal beard. 18th Dynasty. New Kingdom. Luxor Museum. Egypt.
