Galtaji, an ancient Hindu pilgrimage, near Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Natural spring emerges high on hill and flows downward, filling a series of kunds (water tanks) in which pilgrims bathe. It is believed that a Saint named Galav lived here, practiced meditation. @archeohistories

Throughout history, folklore, religion and literature, the moon has represented womanhood. As women we are inextricably linked to lunar activity by our hormonal cycles that for many of us sync with the full moon each month.
For whatever reason, whether spiritual or not, many women report overwhelming sensations of emotional fullness, physical wellness and a richer, all encompassing connection with their surroundings and loved ones during a full moon.
The Harvest Moon, providing three full days of near unbridled moonlight may be a perfect opportunity for many of us to reconnect to ourselves and our surroundings.
I won’t try to logically explain the reason this occurs as we all have our own ideas, but just try spending some time outside under the full moon over the Harvest - alone or with your sisters and daughters. See for yourself.
