Non si può affermare che i contesti più urbanizzati favoriscano sempre la diffusione del fenomeno omicidiario: in 47 province su 106, il tasso di omicidio è inferiore nel capoluogo rispetto al resto dei comuni.
Negli ultimi 5 anni il numero di donne che hanno subìto almeno una forma di violenza fisica o sessuale ammonta a 2 milioni 435 mila, l’11,3% delle donne dai 16 ai 70 anni. Quelle che hanno subìto violenza fisica sono 1 milione 517 mila (il 7%), le vittime della violenza sessuale sono 1 milione 369 mila (il 6,4%); le donne che hanno subìto stupri o tentati stupri sono 246 mila, (1,2%), di cui 136 mila stupri (0,6%) e circa 163 mila tentati stupri (0,8%).
Il 31,5% delle 16-70enni (6 milioni 788 mila) ha subìto nel corso della propria vita una qualche forma di violenza fisica o sessuale: il 20,2% (4 milioni 353 mila) ha subìto violenza fisica, il 21% (4 milioni 520 mila) violenza sessuale, il 5,4% (1 milione 157 mila) le forme più gravi della violenza sessuale come lo stupro (652 mila) e il tentato stupro (746 mila) https://perma.cc/2GPH-5DGZ
