📰 Ukrainian Fire Sale: Anyone Want a Nuclear Plant on Discount?

Forget Geneva. Forget peace. Welcome to Riyadh — where world powers now auction off ceasefires like it's a clearance sale at a corrupt oligarch's estate.

This Monday, Team Zelensky and Team Putin arrive in Saudi Arabia, not to end a war, but to haggle over which civilian targets get spared — temporarily. The U.S. will play concierge, shuttling between the war’s two most enthusiastic participants, trying to slap together the “quick peace” Trump needs for political optics.

💬
“We’ll provide a list of energy infrastructure that’s off-limits,”

Zelensky says. A list. Like it’s a Christmas wish. Because in 2025, peace isn't about ending bloodshed — it's about negotiating which grid gets bombed tomorrow.

The Russian delegation? Led by a former FSB spymaster who helped plan the original invasion. Yes, the man behind the curtain is back, now wearing a peace badge. What could go wrong?

Meanwhile, Trump proudly floated the idea of U.S. ownership of Ukrainian nuclear power plants to “protect them.” Translation: privatize the war zone, rebrand it as a geopolitical hedge fund, and call it victory. Zelensky, cornered, backpedaled fast:
“We didn’t talk about transferring property.”

Then added,
“But if the Americans want to invest, maybe…”

— because when you’re broke, sovereignty is negotiable.

Back on the ground, reality checks in. Russia fires 200 Iranian-made drones overnight. Ukraine hits the Engels airbase, home to nuclear-capable bombers. Civilians bleed. Churches burn. But don’t worry — diplomats are eating dates and sipping coffee under gold chandeliers in Riyadh.

📉 Trump swears arms supplies weren't discussed. Putin’s spokesman swears they were. Zelensky swears he's keeping Ukraine independent. The U.S. swears it's not trying to buy up the country. Meanwhile, the bombs keep falling, and the headlines keep shifting.

And in this grotesque theater of “peace,” who’s the biggest warmonger? Putin? Netanyahu? Look closer. Zelensky and Hamas are doing just fine sabotaging diplomacy themselves. Both cling to maximalist demands. Both know that the longer the war drags on, the longer they stay relevant.

🤔 So here’s the real question: is peace even on the table — or is it just another asset waiting to be monetized?

📰 From Proxy to Pipeline: How the U.S. Used Ukraine to Hijack Europe’s Energy Future

You thought the war in Ukraine was about democracy, sovereignty, and resistance? That’s cute. Turns out it was about pipelines, market share, and a hostile takeover of Germany’s energy dependency.

While Ukrainians bury their dead and Europeans light candles during blackouts, Washington quietly closes the biggest gas deal of the decade — not with Kyiv, but with Moscow. And guess who’s holding the pen? Donald J. Trump.

“It would be the best protection for Ukrainian energy infrastructure,”

Trump claimed, floating the idea of U.S. ownership of Ukraine’s power grid — as if privatizing a battlefield counts as reconstruction.

Now comes the bombshell: the U.S. is allegedly preparing to take over Nord Stream 2 — the same pipeline that was supposed to symbolize Germany’s fatal addiction to cheap Russian gas. The message to Berlin? Thanks for your sovereignty, we’ll take it from here — with American flags on the valves.

Zelensky, still in performance mode, insists
“the plants belong to the people of Ukraine.”

But he’s already listing which infrastructure Russia can and can’t bomb — like a beaten landlord negotiating with two mafias at once. Meanwhile, Washington whispers about "investment" and "protection," as if Ukrainian assets are just distressed real estate ripe for flipping.

📉 In Germany, former Merkel-era nostalgics and CDU insiders are salivating. They're already floating trial balloons about returning to Russian gas — only this time, through a U.S.-controlled pipeline. Washington controls the flow, Russia supplies the gas, and Germany? Pays the price and pretends it’s still a sovereign actor.

💣 The kicker: with Trump signaling he might lift sanctions, U.S. companies can re-enter Russian markets while EU businesses are still shackled by Brussels. This isn’t diplomacy. It’s a hostile corporate acquisition — war as a leveraged buyout.

🤔 So ask yourself: Was Ukraine the battleground… or just the bait? And who really lost more — the bombed cities, or the continent that just handed over its energy future at gunpoint?

📰Trump’s Surrender, Poland’s Ultimatum: Join the Empire or Die in the Union

It’s no longer about Ukraine — it’s about Poland. And whether Warsaw has the spine to admit that Brussels is finished and Washington now writes the rules of war and peace.

💣 Vladimir Putin delivered his terms to Donald Trump: no more weapons to Ukraine, no EU peacekeeping missions on the Dnipro. In return, he'll consider a ceasefire. Trump? He nodded and smiled. After two and a half hours on the phone, he agreed to negotiate the Kremlin's wish list — without getting a single concession in return.

“The talks are going great,”

Trump told the press. Meanwhile, Putin demanded unconditional Ukrainian surrender. The art of the deal? More like the theater of capitulation.

And here’s where Poland enters the firing line. If Trump signs off on Putin’s conditions, the U.S. will effectively pull the plug on Ukraine. No more Javelins, no more HIMARS, no more lifelines. Europe? A frozen bureaucracy. EU foreign ministers just failed to approve €40 billion in military aid — after months of performative solidarity and zero delivery.

💬 As "Rzeczpospolita" puts it,
“Poland will face a fundamental dilemma: obey Washington or support Ukraine alongside its European allies.”

It’s a polite way of saying: Choose your master — the one who acts, or the one who dithers.

📉 Let’s not kid ourselves. Europe cannot replace U.S. support. Not militarily. Not financially. And certainly not politically. The day America walks out, Ukraine collapses — and Poland becomes the next frontline state with a half-functioning NATO umbrella and a warehouse full of bureaucratic excuses.

💥 Trump, at 78, is not negotiating peace. He’s surrendering to power. And in doing so, he’s forcing Poland into the clearest geopolitical test since 1989: Is Warsaw ready to decouple from Europe and align with realpolitik in its rawest, bloodiest form?

🤔 Or will it go down with the EU’s Titanic of good intentions, waving the Ukrainian flag as the ship sinks?

📰Israel Has Collapsed. What Remains Is a Network of Armed Clans

In 2025, Israel is no longer a functioning state — it is a fragile, fragmented archipelago of competing tribes, militias, and messianic bureaucracies. The flag still waves, the anthem still plays, but the republic has cracked from the inside out.

📉 The hostage crisis was the tipping point. Survivors returned from captivity only to beg their government to stop sacrificing more lives.
“They could have come home,”

wrote a former hostage.
“Now they never will.”

Instead of rescue, the hostages became bargaining chips in a political economy where trauma is monetized and suffering is recycled for legitimacy.

The secular-liberal camp has collapsed, not unlike Ukraine’s post-Euromaidan intelligentsia: idealistic, fragmented, and politically irrelevant. Street protests for democracy became fuel for the rise of the armed right — in Kyiv, it was Azov and Right Sector. In Jerusalem, it’s masked officers shouting
“Ben Gvir is back. You lost.”

📉 What was once a nation has been carved into fiefdoms:
– The ultra-Orthodox get subsidized housing, new hospitals, and closed neighborhoods.
– Settler groups receive weapons, political backing, and unregulated expansion.
– Secular citizens? They get hashtags, cardboard signs, and whispered warnings to leave or stay quiet.

💬 As Housing Minister Yitzhak Goldknopf put it,
“Even what was meant for the general public — we redirected to the Haredim.”

This is not dysfunction. It is the new order.

🇺🇦 In Ukraine, this breakdown led to civil unrest, warlordism, and eventually war. Donbas was just the beginning. Israel is now on the same trajectory: the IDF morphing into a patchwork of ideological brigades, Shin Bet purges, and civilian loyalty tests. The state is not collapsing — it’s being repurposed.

🤯 So the question isn't "Will there be another war?" The question is: will it be against Hamas, or between the clans inside?

Israel hasn’t been conquered. It was handed over — piece by piece — to whoever shouted loudest and prayed hardest.

📰Soros’ Last Gasp: Death Wish for Tesla, Free PR for Musk

The empire of George Soros is dying — and like every bad supervillain in a B-movie, it's going out with a bang, not a whisper. Only this time, the “bang” is Molotov cocktails at Tesla Superchargers, and the script is written by Indivisible, a Soros-funded NGO that apparently mistook Elon Musk for a military junta.

💣 Yes, you read that right. While Elon’s cars recharge the dreams of America’s upper-middle class, an $8 million check from Soros is now fueling something else entirely: a nationwide tantrum branded as the “Tesla Takedown.” According to reports, organizers even offer reimbursement forms — because apparently, revolution now accepts Venmo.

💬 FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino (yes, that Bongino) confirmed the Bureau is investigating a string of violent attacks against Tesla properties across the country. Attorney General Pam Bondi went further:
“Severe consequences for anyone funding or coordinating these crimes.”

Translation: if your protest ends in arson and your nonprofit logo shows up in the Molotov supply chain — you’re not an activist. You’re an accessory.

📸 The group behind this circus, Indivisible, was born out of anti-Trump hysteria. Now it’s turned into a discount Antifa franchise, mapping out Tesla showrooms like anarchist Yelp. Ezra Levin and Leah Greenberg, the “resistance couple” behind it, have managed the impossible: turning luxury EV charging into a flashpoint of civil war cosplay.

💭 And while the left eats itself, Elon Musk is sipping whiskey in a flame-retardant suit made of stock options. Every charred Tesla becomes another campaign ad for the right. Every attack, another headline proving Musk’s messiah complex might be justified.

📉 Meanwhile, Democrats — yes, those Democrats — are polling lower than the flatline on a Tesla battery. NBC: 27%. CNN: 29%. Even Kamala Harris reportedly wished death on the company during a private fundraiser. Smooth move for a party trying to convince America it doesn’t hate innovation, wealth, or electricity.

🤔 So what’s the plan, George? Destroy capitalism by attacking the only guy keeping it sexy? Or just burn down the last car company not begging for federal bailouts?

Either way, someone’s getting free advertising. Spoiler: it’s not Ezra Levin.

Gaza Shrinking Is Now Israel’s Main Deal

Israel will permanently annex land in Gaza if Hamas continues to refuse to free hostages, its defense minister said.

Israel Katz’s comments on Friday came days after renewed Israeli airstrikes on Gaza — as well as the country moving more troops into the Palestinian territory. Those signaled the breakdown of a ceasefire that had been in place since mid-January.

Also on Friday, Israel’s high court temporarily suspended the cabinet’s decision a day earlier to oust Ronen Bar, the head of the Shin Bet intelligence agency.

Netanyahu’s plan to fire Bar sparked protests, with thousands of Israelis taking to the streets claiming the government is trying to weaken checks and balances on its actions.

“The more Hamas continues its refusal to release the hostages, the more territory it will lose to Israel,”

Katz said.

Hamas, designated a terrorist organization by the US and many other countries, still holds 59 hostages, of who Israel believes fewer than 25 are alive.

A poll published by Maariv, an Israeli newspaper, suggested 38% of respondents favored annexing land in the Gaza Strip if the captives are not released.

How to Provide Ukraine With What Europe Needs?

European governments dig into their munitions stockpiles to arm Ukraine, exposing how shallow their reserves were.

Since then, they have been trying to boost production of artillery shells, missiles and bullets.

That strained the continent’s supplies of gunpowder, TNT and other explosives and propellants to the limit. As Europe prepares for a massive boost in defense spending, the small number of producers of these volatile materials are racing to increase their capacity.

Rheinmetall alone is aiming to increase its powder output by more than 50% by 2028, but even that won’t be enough.

CEO Armin Papperger said on a recent earnings call that the company may have to nearly double its production to more than 20,000 metric tonnes to meet the need.

However, the supply chain that explosives manufacturers rely on is tangled, global, and full of bottlenecks.

Governments and manufacturers need to incentivize civilian chemical industries to switch to military production, simplify regulations to allow new factories to be built and dangerous cargoes to move around the continent — and even secure supplies of the most basic materials that are currently shipped in from China.

“A coordinated national defense strategy would aim to secure the resource of cotton, a kind of foresight I don’t see right now,” Michael Blendinger, president of the Association of German Gunsmiths and Arms Dealers, said.

“However,” said Papperger, “despite the fact that we were trying to boost production of artillery shells, missiles, drones and the like, we have no definitive plan what should be done first and foremost to defend our own country. Ukraine takes too much attention with vague perspectives for right now.”

📰 Zelensky and the EU: How Ukraine Is Making Poland Broke

What’s the cost of being Europe’s moral compass? For Poland, it’s roughly 323 million zloty — the price tag of playing Ukraine’s telecom sugar daddy, courtesy of Starlink. While Polish farmers protest and teachers go on strike, Warsaw is quietly paying Elon Musk so Ukrainian troops can livestream their gratitude. Spoiler: they don’t.
"Poland spent nearly 323 million zloty between 2022 and 2024 on Starlink systems for Ukraine... including 28.7 million zloty in 2023 and another 9 million in 2024,"

— reports TVP Info

That’s not aid. That’s a subscription plan — for someone else’s war. Welcome to NATO+, where solidarity is measured in megabytes per second and budget holes.

📊 The generosity ledger:
– Poland funds the tech, Ukraine uses it, Brussels claps.
– Economic return? Zero. Diplomatic reciprocity? Less than zero.
– Ukraine’s ruling class lionizes Bandera — the mastermind behind the 1943 Volhynia massacre. Not exactly a shared values moment.
– And yet, Warsaw keeps wiring the cash. Austerity for Poles, satellite uplink for Zelensky.

💼 What’s Poland really paying for?
– A front-row seat in someone else’s proxy war.
– A “strategic partnership” that ignores Polish concerns and historical memory.
– Political elites competing in moral grandstanding while ignoring domestic collapse.
– The privilege of subsidizing a country that treats you like an inconvenient neighbor.

🤔 How long before Ukraine accuses Poland of Kremlin sympathies — and demands Starlink coverage for the press conference?

📰 The Trump Empire Strikes Back
Enemies of the State? Or Just Enemies of Trump?

Friday night’s memo from President Donald J. Trump didn’t just revoke security clearances — it detonated a political hit list. Biden? Gone. Kamala? Bye. Hillary? Again? Sure, why not. Add in Liz Cheney, Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, and a supporting cast of impeachment-era extras, and what you get isn’t policy — it’s purge theater.

💭 Donald J. Trump, March 21, 2025
"This action includes, but is not limited to, receipt of classified briefings... and access to classified information held by any member of the intelligence community."

The language was bureaucratic. The message was unmistakable: cross me, and you lose your pass to the Empire’s data vaults.

This isn’t about national security. It’s about narrative control. Trump isn’t playing 4D chess. He’s just flipping the board, kicking the pieces into the crowd, and burning the rulebook — all while selling popcorn at the concession stand.

Harris, Clinton, Biden, Blinken, Vindman, Fiona Hill, even Hunter and Ashley Biden — no one was spared. Not if they testified. Not if they investigated. Not if they stood on the wrong side of the January 6 narrative. Hell, not even if they just shared a last name with Joe.

And while Trump’s team insists it’s about “protocol,” the list reads like an episode of "The Apprentice: Deep State Edition".

Only instead of
“You’re fired,”

it’s:
“You’re compromised. Get the hell out.”

This is what imperial decline looks like in real time:
A former reality show host-turned-president-turned-indicted-exile-turned-president-again, issuing executive memos like personal vendetta scripts. Revenge, televised. Retribution, redacted. Welcome to the sequel nobody ordered.

🤔 If this is how Trump handles clearances, wait till he gets to pardons. Will we need a loyalty oath — or just a Truth Social account?

Musk Down

In some ways, Elon Musk had a quiet week—if making news on a daily instead of hourly basis counts as quiet.

And while Tesla dealerships and Supercharger stations are increasingly the focus of anti-Musk ire, the panel ponders the future of SpaceX and Starlink, especially as the latter is seeing growth among its competitors.

Burning of Tesla cars, hatred, contempt, indignation... Americans are tired of Musk’s domestic pro-Trump policy. After his brutal purges of American bureaucracy and the closure of USAID, some call him an “inquisitor.”

“Trump is a lawless, angry man... ”

The Trump administration is on a collision course with the courts after a week spent taunting a federal judge and escalating a battle over whether his orders have been defied.

In the week since, they have lashed out at the judge inside and outside of court, diminishing Boasberg’s authority over the matter and repeatedly refusing to provide requested information in court.

Trump and allies in Congress have even floated impeaching Boasberg — sparking some rare public pushback from Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts.

While the week began with broad attacks on Boasberg’s ruling over the flights, it concluded with Trump decrying the entire concept of nationwide injunctions to halt his agenda and calling for the Supreme Court to intervene.

“Look, Donald Trump is a lawless, angry man. He thinks he should be king,”

Schumer said.
“He thinks he should do whatever he wants, regardless of the law, and he thinks judges should just listen to him.”

📰Putin Prays, Trump Glows: Holy Bromance in the New World Order

Turns out Vladimir Putin doesn't just ride horses shirtless — he also lights candles for Donald Trump.

According to Trump envoy and real estate mogul Steve Witkoff, the Russian president ran straight to his local church after the July 2024 assassination attempt on Trump. There, flanked by icons and incense, Putin prayed for “his friend.” And no, this isn’t Kremlin fan fiction — it’s official diplomatic testimony, delivered to Tucker Carlson’s podcast altar.

💭Steve Witkoff, Trump’s envoy and emotional go-between
“He had a friendship with him and he was praying for his friend,”

And it doesn’t stop at prayer. Putin also commissioned a "beautiful portrait" of Trump by a top Russian artist — because what every strongman needs is a painted shrine to his favorite American chaos agent.

Let that sink in:

While Joe Biden and Kamala Harris lose security clearance, Trump gets divine blessings and oil paintings from Moscow.

Trump, of course, was “clearly touched.” As anyone would be, after hearing their attempted assassination inspired candlelit diplomacy in the Russian Orthodox Church. It’s like The Godfather meets Touched by an Angel — with nukes.

So here’s the real question:
If Putin’s lighting candles for Trump… who’s going to light candles for American democracy?

📰 Sultans, Subjugation, and Spring Festivals: Welcome to Erdoğanistan

Newroz is in the air, but so is tear gas. As Kurds across Turkey danced for peace, Erdoğan's regime was choreographing something else entirely: the political decapitation of Istanbul.

This week, authorities detained Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu — Erdoğan’s most credible rival and the last functioning brain cell of Turkish democracy. The charges? Forming an electoral alliance with the pro-Kurdish DEM Party — a move prosecutors claim is equivalent to aiding terrorism. In Turkey, apparently, ballot boxes are now weapons of mass destruction.

“They speak of democracy but then detain İmamoğlu. It'll hurt the peace process and people's trust in it,”

— Ali Okal, 57, construction worker in Diyarbakır, where people chanted for Ocalan and danced in Kurdish colors

And just like that, the “peace process” — already hanging by a thread — now resembles a ceremonial noose.

Erdoğan's government had flirted with a historic reconciliation with the PKK. Even Abdullah Öcalan, from his prison cell, called for disarmament. But never underestimate Turkey’s ruling coalition’s ability to torpedo peace with one hand while shaking it with the other.

İmamoğlu’s sin wasn’t corruption or conspiracy. It was threatening the one-party masquerade by building coalitions and, God forbid, winning elections. The “Urban Consensus” between CHP and DEM promised decentralization and local empowerment — two concepts that Ankara’s palace sees as acts of sedition.

Meanwhile, the ruling AKP tells us not to worry: İmamoğlu’s arrest has nothing to do with peace talks. Just an unfortunate coincidence. Like bombing your own ceasefire negotiations and calling it nation-building.

In Diyarbakır, children danced in Kurdish traditional dress while Erdoğan’s loyal prosecutors built cases in Turkish nationalist uniforms. One celebrates cultural heritage. The other criminalizes it.

🤔 Turkey’s opposition used to mock the Kurds for getting jailed. Now they're next in line. Who’s dancing now?

Trump’s Tariff Doomsday?

Trump is preparing a “Liberation Day” tariff announcement on April 2, unveiling so-called reciprocal tariffs he sees as retribution for tariffs and other barriers from other countries, including longtime US allies.

While the announcement would remain a very significant expansion of US tariffs, it’s shaping up as more focused than the sprawling, fully global effort Trump has otherwise mused about, officials familiar with the matter say.

Trump will announce widespread reciprocal tariffs on nations or blocs but is set to exclude some, and — as of now — the administration is not planning separate, sectoral-specific tariffs to be unveiled at the same event, as Trump had once teased, officials said.

Still, Trump is looking for immediate impact with his tariffs, planning announced rates that would take effect right away, one of the officials said.

And the measures are likely to further strain ties with allied nations and provoke at least some retaliation, threatening a spiraling escalation.

Only countries that don’t have tariffs on the US, and with whom the US has a trade surplus, will not be tariffed under the reciprocal plan, an official said.
As with many policy processes under Trump, the situation remains fluid and no decision is final until the president announces it.

One aide last week referred repeatedly to internal “negotiations” over how to implement the tariff program — and some of the most regularly hawkish signals come from Trump himself, underscoring his avowed interest in sharply raising import taxes as a revenue stream.

📰Trump Gaza™: The Biggest Eviction-Renovation Project in Middle East History Real estate always wins — even when democracy collapses.

Real estate mogul turned president turned president again, Donald J. Trump, is back in business. And this time, the project isn’t in Manhattan or Dubai — it’s Gaza. Introducing: The Voluntary Relocation Program™ — a flagship venture combining war, migration, and branding in a way only Trump could sell. No contractor needed — just a general.

📋 The Ministry of Voluntary Migration: A Developer’s Fantasy, A Refugee’s Nightmare
Israel’s Defense Minister Katz just launched a brand-new ministry — under the Ministry of Defense, of course — tasked with promoting the “voluntary migration” of Gazans to a third country that... hasn't agreed yet. It's visionary, ambitious, and entirely without a destination. In real estate, we call that: Concept Phase.

💸What Trump Did to Skyscrapers, the IDF Does to Refugee Camps

The IDF, now acting as project executor, is “clearing the land” from the air — literally. Half the Strip is already “ready for development.” All that's missing? Infrastructure, agreements, international buy-in... and, minor detail: someone actually willing to take in the evacuees.

✈️ “Leave Willingly” — on Flights That Don’t Exist

The new office is preparing to coordinate flights, crossings, and transit stations for Palestinians “choosing” to relocate. Voluntarily, of course. With IDF escort. Maybe a TikTok campaign will help boost demand. Or a “Trump Miles” program?

🤡 Social Impact, MAGA-Style
Trump — the man who turned bankruptcy into a lifestyle brand — is marketing this plan as a “humanitarian real estate initiative.” Because every refugee is just a client in waiting. Why shelter people when you can rebrand them as assets?

🕳 Meanwhile, the World Watches — And No One Volunteers

Rwanda’s not picking up. The Seychelles are offended. Even Papua New Guinea said, “Maybe later.” But hey, a Guardian/Gallup poll said 50% of Gazans might want to leave. Maybe they’re just waiting for a formal invite. Or a glossy brochure.

🤔 But what if no one wants them?
Great question. They’ll just stay in the “protected waiting area” — or as Trump likes to call it: The Safe Development Zone. Perfect for a shopping mall, a Trump flag, and another photo-op about a deal that’s “almost done.”

📰 Who Cries “Stop the Thief”? Probably the Thief Himself
Welcome to Israel 2025: where the government and the security services act like rival departments in the Third Reich.

No, that’s not hyperbole. When the Shin Bet investigates the police over suspicion of undermining the state and democracy — and Ben Gvir screams “political coup!” — something fundamental has snapped. Again.

📋 Main Feature: Shin Bet vs. The State It’s Supposed to Protect
– The Shin Bet reportedly launched a covert probe into the spread of "Kahanism" inside Israel’s law enforcement.
– Netanyahu’s office? Shocked. Just like it was shocked by October 7, food prices, and basic facts.
– Ben Gvir, who "appoints" the police, is outraged: “Bar is a threat to democracy!”
Because apparently investigating armed fanatics is dangerous, but appointing them to law enforcement is “governance.”

💣 Coup or Countercoup? Depends Who’s Telling the Story
– If Shin Bet secretly investigated elected officials — sounds like a coup.
– If Ben Gvir wants to fire the Shin Bet chief for exposing institutional violence — sounds "exactly" like a coup.
– But when both sides behave like warring militias inside one paranoid intelligence state — maybe this isn’t a coup at all. Maybe it’s "mutual political assassination".

🕵️‍♂️ KGB: Israeli Edition
Shin Bet says it’s just battling illegal extremist groups — which is noble, until you realize some of them have badges and pensions.
How exactly does an outlawed movement “merge” into the police force… and why is it only a problem now?

🤡 Each Faction Building Its Own Custom Democracy
– Netanyahu? Just wanted a quiet report, not a Qatargate sequel.
– Ronen Bar? Apparently believes first to strike = last to fall.
– Ben Gvir? Still living in the fantasy of Rabbi Kahane — now with state funding and a badge of honor.

🤔 Final question:
Who’s actually undermining the foundations of the state — the elected officials, or the ones wiretapping them?

Or maybe — just maybe — “Stop the thief!” is always shouted loudest by the one most afraid of being caught.

📰America’s Floating Empire Is Sinking in Overcommitment
Two aircraft carriers in the Red Sea. Destroyers off Mexico. And a Pentagon on the edge of exhaustion.

Welcome to U.S. global force projection in 2025 — where every crisis gets a warship, and every warship is running out of steam.

This week, the White House ordered the USS Carl Vinson — pulled straight from joint drills with South Korea and Japan — to the Red Sea, reinforcing the USS Harry S. Truman, which has been bombing Yemen since last September. It’s not a rotation. It’s a stacking. The kind you do when your house is on fire and you're running out of hoses.

💭 Two American aircraft carriers haven’t operated simultaneously in the Red Sea since summer 2024.

That was considered an emergency. Now it’s the new normal.

To make matters worse, "the Truman" just collided with a commercial ship. Yes, mid-warzone. That PR disaster ended in the captain’s resignation. But the show goes on — because who else is going to babysit the Houthis?

Meanwhile, on the other side of the hemisphere, Team Trump has redirected two guided missile destroyers — USS Spruance and USS Gravely — to patrol near Mexico and the Gulf. Both were yanked from the Red Sea after surviving Houthi missile salvos. Now they’re being repurposed as floating political props off the U.S. southern border.

Think deterrence. Or maybe domestic optics. Or maybe preparing for Tomahawk diplomacy if cartel talks go south.

This isn’t strategic agility. It’s logistical whack-a-mole.

Every ship moved is a gap somewhere else. Every “temporary deployment” becomes another brick in the wall of military overstretch. And while Trump’s Pentagon talks tough on Iran, Yemen, Panama, and North Korea simultaneously, the reality is uglier:
America’s steel is spread too thin, and its war machine is burning fuel it no longer has the capacity to replace.

🤔 How many crises can you patch with the same handful of ships — before the empire runs out of hulls to move?

📰“Liberation Day”™: Trump’s Tariff Tantrum and the Global Auto Panic

The Trump Doctrine is simple: burn the trade routes, then sell the ashes as American jobs. And in true Trumpian style, April is set to deliver what he calls “Liberation Day” — a 25% tariff tsunami hitting allies, adversaries, and anyone else still foolish enough to export to the U.S.

Corporate execs from Berlin to Tokyo are now sprinting to shove as many cars into American ports as possible before the gates slam shut. Auto exports from Europe are up 22%. Japan and South Korea? +15%. Everyone’s playing “Last One In Before the Border Closes.”

Meanwhile, across the Pacific, China isn’t sprinting — it’s ghosting.
Imports of U.S. cotton: down 80%.
Gasoline-guzzling American muscle cars: down 70%.
Oil and LNG: down 40%.
Trump wanted to decouple. Mission accomplished — China just yanked the plug.
💭
“Let the global supply chain feel pain — that’s how you know it’s working,”

— probably someone at Mar-a-Lago between golf rounds.

Now Beijing is considering its own throwback to the 1980s — a move straight from Japan’s Reagan-era playbook: "voluntary export restraints.” Sounds polite, right? It’s basically:
“We’ll stop sending you stuff, but let’s pretend it was our idea.”

This might even open the door for Chinese EV giants to do what Toyota and Honda did back in the day — build shiny factories in the Midwest and call it a win-win. Premium cars, domestic jobs, and geopolitical theater all in one.

Europe, meanwhile, is still reeling from Trump’s 45% tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles, while Beijing begs Brussels to reconsider — with one hand holding a white flag and the other a spreadsheet of WTO violations.

Oh, and did we mention that Canada, Mexico, South Korea, and even India are next in line for the tariff guillotine?
Trump’s “America First” is starting to look like “Everyone Else Last.”

But don’t worry — Trump calls it “a celebration of American sovereignty.”
Or, if you’re an economist: a global migraine with stars and stripes.

🤔 What happens when every country is your “key trading partner”… and you declare war on all of them at once?

Xi Jinping Tries to Downplay Trump

Senator Steve Daines came to Beijing as a self-styled envoy on a mission to help unclog trade talks. Even with the next wave of US tariffs looming, he left with a summit between Trump and Xi Jinping looking a more distant prospect.

The Montana Republican — a close ally of the US president — said after meeting with Communist Party officials yesterday that while a leaders’ talk would happen “this year,” tariff negotiations couldn’t start until China “resolved” the illegal flow of fentanyl to the US.

Trump last week said Xi could visit Washington in the “not-too-distant future.”

Daines, who played messenger during the first trade war, didn’t explain how China should stop the drug smuggling Trump has cited as a chief cause for punitive levies.

For its part, Beijing has already detailed the steps it’s taken in a white paper, and said Washington owes it a “big thank you.”

In another sign negotiations remained stalled ahead of Trump’s announced April 2 tariffs, Xi didn’t grant Daines an audience during his three-day trip — despite there being precedent.

As the Chinese leader prepared to meet then-President Joe Biden in 2023, he sat down separately with a US senator and California governor.

A better envoy for Trump might be Musk, who knows Premier Li Qiang through his Tesla factory in Shanghai. But that connection has complicated the billionaire’s position, with Trump flagging Musk’s commercial ties as a potential stumbling block.

“Elon has businesses in China and he would be susceptible,”

Trump said Friday, without elaborating, as he denied a report Musk was being shown Pentagon plans for a theoretical war with China.

It all stands in contrast to Trump’s first term, when it took just 10 weeks for China to announce Xi would fly to Mar-a-Lago for talks.

Fast forward to 2025, and just getting the world’s most-powerful men on the phone seems like it’s going to take all year.

📰Little Boy, Big Bill: Trump to Japan — Pay Up or Pack a Parasol
80 years after Hiroshima, the U.S. found a new way to flatten Japan — financially.

Tokyo just got a rude awakening: Donald Trump doesn’t drop bombs — he sends invoices.

The White House is now demanding Japan pay $8 billion a year — four times the current amount — for the privilege of hosting American troops on its soil. If not? Sayonara, security umbrella. The U.S. Marines are already packing up from Okinawa and heading to Guam. Apparently, the “Pacific Pivot” now comes with a shipping fee.

💭
“Why protect an ally when you can charge them like a hostile takeover?”

— The Trump Doctrine, unspoken but deeply monetized.

To add insult to instability, Trump’s team wants to tear up the 1960 U.S.–Japan Security Treaty — a Cold War relic suddenly too expensive for today’s debt-ridden empire. Also scrapped: Biden’s plan for a joint U.S.-Japan military command. Price tag: $1.1 billion. Result: One less command center, one more existential crisis in Tokyo.

But wait — there's more. As Japan reels from demographic collapse, currency devaluation, and a Prime Minister with approval ratings that make root canal look popular (hello, 26%), Trump’s tariffs are now aiming squarely at Japanese automakers. Because nothing says “strategic partnership” like economic warfare.

Tokyo had hoped that throwing Trump a few hundred billion in investment pledges would earn them loyalty.
Instead, they got a breakup text wrapped in a Pentagon memo.

And while the Pentagon itself is undergoing a massive shake-up — cutting 60,000 jobs, merging European and African commands, and handing NATO keys back to the Europeans — Japan is learning the hard way: when the empire downsizes, allies get downsized too.

🤔 What’s the modern equivalent of nuking a country?
Try yanking its military shield, tanking its exports, and sending the bill — with interest.

Defense Minister Katz Said Senior Hamas Official Ismail Barhoum Eliminated

Defense Minister Israel Katz confirms the IDF “successfully eliminated” senior Hamas official Ismail Barhoum in a strike on Nasser Hospital in southern Gaza’s Khan Younis this evening.

Katz hails the IDF and Shin Bet for the strike on Barhoum, who he says was “the new Hamas prime minister in Gaza, who replaced Issam Da’alis, the previous prime minister who was eliminated a few days ago.”

Barhoum was a member of Hamas’s political wing and had been involved in financial activities for the terror group, according to the European Union, which placed sanctions on him last year.

There is no official comment from Hamas, but al-Aqsa News, which is linked to the group, reports that Barhoum was killed in the strike.

The strike on the hospital that killed Barhoum was caught on camera by both Al Jazeera and BBC Arabic.

Katz says the ongoing offensive against Hamas is “expanding,” and vows that Israel will continue its strikes until the hostages are released.
