Given the possibility of U.S.-China conflict over Taiwan or another regional contingency, understanding how the People's Liberation Army (PLA) thinks about the use of disinformation campaigns on social media has emerged as an important question for U.S. national security policymakers and defense planners.

The authors identify key Chinese practices and the supporting infrastructure and conditions needed to engage in successful social media disinformation campaigns and conclude that China is using Taiwan as a test bed for developing attack vectors. The authors recommend being competitive in shaping and countering messages on social media, working to engage and protect Chinese-American service members (China's most likely targets), and incorporating adversary social media disinformation into future wargame

Yes! Everything else is misdirection and most likely intentional! Both sides are in a war for their very existence. Make no mistake, those in a life or death struggle will do whatever it take to win and they have been planning this for a lot longer than the good guys. They have the tools. Getting this election corrected is imperative and primary.

What I kept hearing over and over again during the symposium is that "we the people" need to do something. That it's not the job of a political leader or a party, but "we the people."

At some point we have to stop and recognize what they seem to be telling us. Letters, phone calls, and emails to politicians are as useless as sending them to the CCP (because they effectively are the CCP). As long as we think these activities are doing something, we continue to lose.

AND ..... This is why Conservatives are losers.
Everyone yelling and screaming look at me. Or some BS about something is going to be a nuclear announcement only to have it be something you already knew about two days ago because you follow the real fighters.

This is a face to face and belly to belly fight.

The fight is literally Individual Rights granted by the Creator or or Rights derived from the government. It is we the peoples choice which it will be. it is clear that the vast majority of those in the Bureaucracy have chosen the latter. It is our job to stop it.

Question:

Why do some feel compelled to post something like "I/We already knew that" as a comment in response to something posted that they were personally already aware of?

Forgive me for being brutally honest but isn't it a wee bit selfish to think everything made note of has to pass any given individuals personal litmus test for what constitutes acceptable material? What about all the newly awakening eyes coming onboard everyday? Are we to ignore their journey?

REMINDER: This isn't about any of us as individuals. And all of us who do wake up have a responsibility to be cognizant of as much in the same way that others who just so happened to arrive to the party before we did and were therefore forced to see/revisit things THEY already knew.
