Jejuri's Khandoba Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Khandoba, situated on a hill in Jejuri city, Maharashtra, India. This is one of the most prominent Hindu pilgrims of Maharashtra.
Jejuri's Khandoba is the ancestral deity of many farmers families, Brahmins and Khanabadosh Dhangar tribe of Maharashtra and Dakcan region.
According to legends and folklore, Khandoba was the human incarnation of Lord Shiva; he lived in Jejuri fort and ruled the area where the temple now exists. The temple is also known as Jejuri-Gad. Khandoba killed monster brothers Mani and Malla when they harassed people.
