Male vs. female reasons for being admitted to hospital in the UK:
The most male-typical reason for being admitted to hospital is "falling off scaffolding."
The most female-typical reason for being admitted to hospital (excluding vagina problems and pregnancy) is "psychosocial problems."
In terms of raw numbers, "work risk factors" is the most common male-dominated (92.9%) reason for admission, while "follow-up care involving plastic surgery" is the most common female-dominated reason (82.4%).
