So I'm a veteran yeah. Doge presently has a staff member working on the department of veteran affairs. I'd like to get a message directly to him. How would you all go about doing that? I don't have a Twatter. First I would just need his name. Anyone have that handy? For context, I know how the VA could save about $12 billion immediately.

For those in the chat asking what specifically the suggestion is. It relates to the medical record system. The VA developed over the course of about 40 years the first electronic medical record system. For clarity I used to be an IT guy for the VA. The medical record system the VA developed is surprisingly well developed and it's actually the basis for many of the current electronic medical records that you see around today in the private sector. Most of which would not have been an economically feasible had the private sector the electronic medical record companies not had the benefit of the work done by the VA. It was free and open source. The VA adopted this new electronic medical record system from a company called Cerner. It has cost the VA thus far $12 billion. They've been trying to "upgrade" for about the past decade now and have successfully implemented it in Oregon and Washington. Not to mention the fact that the so-called upgrade has caused the death of several veterans. The original medical record system work just fine and was free.
