Quran (from Taraweeh): Whatever you have been given

“And whatever you have been given is an enjoyment of the life of (this) world and its adornment, and that (Hereafter) which is with Allâh is better and will remain forever. Have you then no sense?”

[Chapter 28: Al-Qasas (The Story) verse 60]
Quran (from Taraweeh): Affection & Mercy

“And among His Signs is that He created for you wives from among yourselves, that you may find repose in them, and He has put between you affection and mercy. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who reflect.”

[Chapter 30: Ar-Rūm (The Romans) verse 21]
Quran (from Taraweeh): Fear a day

“O mankind, fear your Lord and fear a Day when no father will avail his son, nor will a son avail his father at all. Indeed, the promise of Allāh is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allāh by the Deceiver [i.e., Satan].”

[Chapter 31: Luqman, verse 33]
Quran (from Taraweeh): Remember Allah

“O you who have believed, remember Allāh with much remembrance”

“Indeed, Satan is an enemy to you; so take him as an enemy. He only invites his party to be among the companions of the Blaze.”

Quran: “Be” and it is

“Verily, His Command, when He intends a thing, is only that He says to it, "Be!" - and it is!”

[Chapter 36: Yā-seen verse 82]
Quran (from Taraweeh): Do not despair

“Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allāh. Indeed, Allāh forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."”

“That is Allāh, your Lord, Creator of all things; there is no deity except Him, so how are you deluded?”

“And We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, for mere play.”

Quran (from Taraweeh): Kindness towards your Parents

“And We have enjoined on man to be dutiful and kind to his parents. His mother bears him with hardship. And she brings him forth with hardship, and the bearing of him, and the weaning of him is thirty months, till when he attains full strength and reaches forty years, he says: "My Lord! Grant me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your Favour which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds, such as please You, and make my offspring good. Truly, I have turned to You in repentance, and truly, I am one of the Muslims (submitting to Your Will)."”

[Chapter 46: Al-Ahqāf (The Dunes) verse 15]
Quran (from taraweeh): Reconciliation

“The believers are nothing else than brothers (in Islâmic religion). So make reconciliation between your brothers, and fear Allâh, that you may receive mercy.”

مَآ أَصَابَ مِن مُّصِيبَةٍ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِىٓ أَنفُسِكُمْ إِلَّا فِى كِتَـٰبٍ مِّن قَبْلِ أَن نَّبْرَأَهَآ ۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ

لِّكَيْلَا تَأْسَوْا۟ عَلَىٰ مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلَا تَفْرَحُوا۟ بِمَآ ءَاتَىٰكُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍ فَخُورٍ

“No disaster strikes upon the earth or among yourselves except that it is in a register before We bring it into being - indeed that, for Allāh, is easy - In order that you not despair over what has eluded you and not exult [in pride] over what He has given you. And Allāh does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful”

[Chapter 57: Al-Hadid (The Iron) verses 22-23]
Quran: He is Allah

“He is Allâh, the Creator, the Inventor of all things, the Bestower of forms. To Him belong the Best Names. All that is in the heavens and the earth glorify Him. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.”

[Chapter 59: Al-Hashr (The Gathering) verse 24]
Quran: Putting your trust in Allah

“And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allâh, then He will suffice him. Verily, Allâh will accomplish his purpose. Indeed Allâh has set a measure for all things.”

[Chapter 65: At-Talāq (The Divorce) verse 3]
Quran: So be patient

“So be patient with gracious patience.”

[Chapter 70: Al-Ma’ārij (The Ways of Ascent) verse 5]
Quran: Giving Charity

“And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive,”

[Chapter 76: Al-Insān (Mankind) verse 8]
Quran (from Taraweeh): From Stage to Stage

“So I swear by the afterglow of sunset; And by the night and whatever it gathers in its darkness, And by the moon when it is at the full. You shall certainly travel from stage to stage (in this life and in the Hereafter).”

[Chapter 84: Al-Inshiqāq (The Splitting Asunder) verses 16-19]
Quran: The Beginning

These were the very first verses of the Quran to be revealed on a night in Ramadhan over 1400 years ago to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

“Recite in the name of your Lord who created. Created man from a clinging substance. Recite, and your Lord is the most Generous”
