As you might know, ICPC is happening in a week! Based on your suggestions, I’ve created an Instagram channel to share more content there. I’ll be posting a lot of interesting things, and I hope you’ll enjoy it!

PS: There’s already something cool there that I haven’t mentioned anywhere else yet. Can you guess what it is?

From winning a gold medal in the IOI to earning over half a million dollars a year, I’m interviewing someone who learned to code before he could read.

Arash’s story is incredible. Born in Iran, he grew up writing programs. He studied Olympiad in Informatics during high school (where I first met him) and went on to win a gold medal in the IOI. Later, he moved to Canada to pursue his bachelor’s degree at the University of Waterloo. After gaining experience and completing a few internships, Arash moved to the Netherlands to work for Radix. Now, he’s waiting for his visa to relocate to the US.

In this interview, Arash shares his thoughts on IOI and competitive programming, how he prepared, and his journey to becoming a quantitative researcher and landing a job in the field.

This is my interview with Arash Mahmoudian, one of the greatest competitive programmers who is now working as a quantitive researcher.

Especially, if you have questions about finding a well-paid job after learning competitive programming, this is an interview that you should not miss!
