We have something new to share.

Introducing our Individual Stock Backtester - currently in its beta phase.

And yes, during this beta phase, it's available for free to all our users.

With this tool, you can:

- Analyze individual stock strategies.
- Currently use 6 indicators
- TF: 1 min, 3 min, 5 min, 15 min, 30 min, 1 hr
- Stocks: Nifty 50 stocks
- Historical data since 2021

So now along with your trading use the backtester to manage your portfolios.

There are some issues with order execution on Alice Blue. You might be getting a 500 error or broker unresponsive error. Please manage the strategies that have gone into error manually. We are talking with the Alice Blue Team.

Yesterdays issue with Alice Blue is persisting today. We do not have a clear response from them as to the resolution of the issue.

New Features

Cost Calculator: Now calculate your brokerage and statutory costs and include them in your backtest Results with the new Cost Calculator. This will give you a more realistic picture of your PNL

Both entry and exit orders will only be limit with a convert to market minimum time of 10 secs.

AlgoTest is ready for Sensex options with all brokers. Please request your broker to add Sensex Options on API to take your strategies live.

Hi everyone we are noticing issues with execution on Kotak. Getting "Runtime Error". We are in touch with them.

Some customer's are noticing that their order went through but they received an error on AlgoTest. This is because the API is not sending us the correct messages. Request you all to please square off/manage your positions manually from their terminal & Switch to manual all remaining strategies.

The Issue has been resolved as per the broker. Please activate your strategies. Those Strategies with Entry Time After current time and in Running state should be left alone.

Upstox V2 API

Many of our customers have been asking if AlgoTest is integrated with the V2 API of Upstox. I would like to clarify that AlgoTest is inded integrated with the V2 API.

Please go ahead and make use of their free brokerage offer on V2 API.

Tuesday: Finnifty
Wednesday: Banknifty
Thursday: Nifty
Friday: Sensex

* Exception: the monthly expiry of banknifty will be on the last Thursday of the month.

New Feature

Single Leg Square off

You now have the ability to square off a single leg in a strategy, at your discretion. This will not affect your other running or yet to be entered legs and will keep your overall strategy in running status.

You will find this option under "VIEW TRADES"

Jainam Duck

We have noticed that Duck customer’s orders have been cancelled.

If your Pending SLL/limit orders are now cancelled on Duck & your Strategy is in “Running” status do not worry. We shall take the SL order via market now.
