📢 Important Update: SEBI Closing Auction Session (CAS) Changes

To comply with SEBI's new Closing Auction Session (CAS) regulations, we have updated all AlgoTest products.

🕒 Equity (Cash) Strategies

- Intraday Equity strategies will now automatically exit at 3:14 PM (earlier 3:29 PM).
- All pending Equity orders will be cancelled at 3:14 PM. However, Strategy Builder orders are excluded from this. If you have any pending Equity orders placed through the Strategy Builder after 3:14 PM, you'll receive a warning notification and will need to cancel or manage those orders manually to ensure they are not executed during the Closing Auction Session (CAS).
- BTST & Positional Equity strategies will stop being monitored after 3:14 PM, and any pending orders will be cancelled.

📈 Futures & Options (Index & Stock Derivatives)

- The trading window has been extended from 3:29 PM to 3:39 PM.
- This applies to Intraday, BTST, and Positional strategies.

⚠️ Mixed-Leg Strategies

If your strategy contains even one Equity leg, the entire strategy will follow Equity timings and exit at 3:14 PM.

🤖 Other Updates

✅ Backtesting, Execution Engine, Saved Strategies, Simulator, ClickTrade, Signal, Signal AI, and AI Agents have all been updated to support the revised market timings.

Please review your strategy timings and make any necessary changes before the new rules take effect.

- ✅ If you have connected your broker to AlgoTest then Click Trade, the live option prices will continue to update normally and your strategy will work as expected.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. We will keep you updated as soon as the issue is resolved.

📢 Shoonya Update

Dear Traders,
If you're using Shoonya without VEE, please note that Equity Cash trading is currently not available.

This is because Shoonya has not yet obtained the required Exchange approval for the Equity Cash. As of now, only the Derivatives segments (NFO/BFO) are supported for order placement.

✅ If you connect through the Shoonya Client (where VEE is mandatory), you will be able to trade in both the Equity Cash and Derivatives (F&O) segments.

🚧 Temporary Disruption in Backtest Data

Due to an issue at the exchange's end, backtest data will not be available today.

The exchange has acknowledged the issue and is actively working on a fix. Once the issue is resolved, backtest data will be available again.
