As you know, post 20 Nov, 2024 weekly expiries for Banknifty, Finnifty, Bankex and Midcp are going to be discontinued. Starting 14 Nov, 2024 we shall be making changes to the AlgoTest platform to help facilitate the new trading experience.
Timeline :
14th November - Changes begin on AlgoTest
20th November - New Regime Rollout, Final AlgoTest changes
List of Changes
- Banknifty Algo strategies will change as follows:
* Last Weekly Expiry: 13 Nov, 2024
* Weekly Expiry - Will take trades in the Monthly Contract (27 Nov, 2024 for this month)
* Next weekly Expiry - Cannot be activated
* Monthly Expiry - No change
* Calendar Spreads - DO NOT ACTIVATE!!
- Finnifty Algo Strategies:
* No change till the last FINNIFTY expiry on 19 Nov, 2024
- Midcp & Bankex Algo Strategies:
* No change till the Last expiry on 18 Nov, 2024
* Monthly Expiry Trading will start from 21 Nov, 2024

Some brokers are rejecting your SENSEX orders, where the logic is Closest Premium. This is because the strikes are far OTM and there is not enough OI in them.
The broker are rejecting your orders due to this reason. Sensex still is not very liquid on non expiry days. Please be careful while trading.
