We find it hard at times to receive a complimentโฆ this could be fear of appearing arrogant or proud. We may doubt the unconditional nature of the compliment or have a feeling of low self esteem or even shyness.
However, compliments are healthy. A compliment is any sort of sincere appreciation of a trait in someone or a behaviour or an appearance. They make us feel good? both giving and receiving them. Compliments help us communicate that appreciation we feel toward one another.
