Price follows orders when they diverge (red line away from green or vice versa). It is quite powerful as one side is clearly pushing the book harder.
You want to follow the side that is pushing harder, simple supply and demand.

To simplify what is happening with the hack:

-The ledger connector code was compromised

-This code was on alot of dapps such as sushiswap, revokecash etc

-This meant that if you tried connecting your wallet to these dapps a fake connection popup would appear on top of the actual one

-If you signed this popup, your wallet would be completely drained

-If you havent touched any dapps in the past 2hours or so you should be safe, dont touch anything!

-To stay safe enable security alerts in MetaMask or other wallets. These scan the signature/request and warn you of wallet draining functionality.
