Cockpit comparison: The Airbus A350 versus the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
The Airbus A350 and the Boeing 787 Dreamliner both fly long-haul routes for airlines around the world. But the cockpits reflect two very different design philosophies.
The most obvious difference is the flight controls. The A350 uses a sidestick on the outside of each pilot's seat. The 787 keeps a traditional control yoke in front of each pilot.
In the A350, the flight computers will not allow the pilot to stall the aircraft or exceed safe limits, no matter how hard the sidestick is pulled. The aircraft protects itself.
In the 787, the computers warn the pilot and resist unsafe inputs. But if the pilot pulls hard enough, those protections can be overridden. Boeing's philosophy is that the pilot always has the final say.
The A350 also has a clean, open layout with no central column. Each pilot has a pull-out tray table for meals, paperwork, or laptops. Airbus calls it the "best office in the sky." The 787 has a more traditional layout that feels closer to classic aviation.

An aircraft does not leave the ground the moment the engines start.
It first rolls down the runway, gathering speed, building momentum, preparing for the climb.
Life works the same way.
There are seasons when it feels like you're moving but not rising.
Studying. Preparing. Failing. Trying again.
To others, it may look like nothing is happening.
But every great departure begins on the ground.
The passengers only remember the flight.
They never see the thousands of checks, calculations, and hours of preparation behind it.
Your journey is no different.
Keep learning. Keep building. Keep moving forward.
One day, the same runway that tested your patience will become the place where your dreams take off.
The sky does not belong to the lucky.
It belongs to those who prepared for it.

✈️ ICAO Aviation English Proficiency – Level 3 (Pre-operational)
In aviation, clear communication is a safety requirement, not just a skill.
ICAO Level 3 indicates that a speaker can communicate in English but may face challenges with:
🔹 Pronunciation – Strong native language influence may affect understanding.
🔹 Grammar – Frequent errors can interfere with communication.
🔹 Vocabulary – Limited word choice and difficulty paraphrasing.
🔹 Fluency – Hesitations and pauses may slow communication.
To work effectively in international aviation, pilots and air traffic controllers are expected to achieve at least ICAO Level 4 (Operational), where communication is clearer, more accurate, and reliable.

ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance–Broadcast) system is one of the most important modern surveillance technologies in aviation, it automatically and continuously sends the location, altitude, speed, and direction of the aircraft.
This data is received by everyone:
- Air Patrol (ATC)
- Close by planes
- Some trip tracking systems
Thanks to this system, monitoring of air traffic has become more accurate and efficient than ever.

The aircraft is taking off with snow on the wing without proper de-icing, which is a deadly misconception. Some snow may fly off, but airflow can't fully clean the wing, and fluffy snow can hide a thin ice crust. Ice distorts the wing, reducing lift and increasing drag, risking uncontrollable stalls. The 2012 Tyumen ATR 72 crash illustrates this danger, as reliance on dry snow led to control loss and crash. Civil aviation strictly enforces the "Clean Aircraft Concept,' prohibiting takeoff with any snow, ice, or frost on the aircraft. Before flight, the aircraft must be impeccably clean.
