At cruising altitude, the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the aircraft is extremely powerful.
Because of that pressure, opening the main cabin door during flight is practically impossible.
Even if someone tried, the force pushing against the door is far stronger than human strength.
Aircraft doors are also designed with locking systems that seal tightly once the cabin becomes pressurized after takeoff.
So in movies it may look dramatic…
but in real aviation, physics takes control long before panic does.
