📖 WHEN THE SKY WAS TESTED

There was a moment in the history of Ethiopian Airlines that was not about expansion, new aircraft, or records
it was about resilience.

In 2019, the airline faced one of its darkest days with the tragic crash of Flight 302.
The world was watching. Questions were heavy. The silence in the skies felt different.

But what followed defined the airline’s true strength.

Instead of stepping back, Ethiopian Airlines chose to stand firm
grounding aircraft for safety, cooperating with global investigations, and putting responsibility before reputation.

It was not an easy chapter.
But it showed something deeper than success it showed accountability, discipline, and the courage to rebuild trust.

From that moment forward, every takeoff carried more than passengers.
It carried a renewed commitment to safety and a promise to never compromise what matters most.

☀️ Good morning, future aviators.

Back in the early days of Ethiopian Airlines, the airline started with just a few aircraft and a vision that many thought was too big for its time.
While others doubted, it quietly built discipline, trained its own professionals, and stayed consistent when progress was slow.

Years passed…
That small beginning turned into one of Africa’s strongest airlines, connecting continents and setting standards others now follow.

The lesson is simple.
Growth in aviation and in life does not come from speed, but from consistency and precision.

🛫 What looks small today can become something powerful tomorrow, if you keep showing up and doing the work.

Good Morning, Future Aviators 🤩

In 2009, a routine flight turned into a moment that would be remembered forever led by Chesley Sullenberger, known as “Sully.”

He was the captain of US Airways Flight 1549 when, just minutes after takeoff, the aircraft struck a flock of birds.
Both engines failed. The plane lost power. The city of New York was below.
There was no time for panic. No time for long decisions.

In a matter of seconds, Captain Sully assessed the situation and made a choice few could make
he would land the aircraft on the Hudson River.

With incredible control and precision, he guided the powerless aircraft down onto the water.
All 155 people on board survived.
What looked impossible became a perfect emergency landing.

Have a nice Sunday y'all

COMMON MISTAKES THAT CAN DISQUALIFY YOU IN AN AIRLINE INTERVIEW

Getting an interview with Ethiopian Airlines is an opportunity but small mistakes can cost it. Here are the ones that matter most:

🔻 Poor appearance
Untidy dressing or lack of grooming signals a lack of professionalism. Airlines pay close attention to presentation.

🔻 Weak communication
Speaking unclearly, using incorrect English, or failing to express ideas properly can immediately reduce your chances.

🔻 Lack of knowledge about the airline
Not knowing basic facts about Ethiopian Airlines shows poor preparation and low interest.

🔻 Overconfidence or arrogance
Confidence is required, but arrogance can make you seem difficult to work with in a team environment.

🔻 Nervous body language
Avoiding eye contact, fidgeting, or showing panic can give a negative impression.

🔻 Dishonest answers
Exaggerating or giving false information is a serious red flag in aviation careers.

🔻 Poor attitude toward teamwork
Airlines look for people who can cooperate, not individuals who only focus on themselves.

🔻 Arriving late
Punctuality is critical in aviation being late to an interview already sends the wrong message.

☀️ Good Morning, Future Aviators

As the sun rises over Addis Ababa, operations begin quietly at Ethiopian Airlines.
Aircraft are prepared, flight plans are reviewed, and crews report for duty before the first departure of the day.

On the apron, ground teams coordinate fueling, loading, and final checks.
Inside the cockpit, pilots study weather conditions and route details.
In the cabin, crew members ensure every seat and safety item is ready.

Within minutes, a fully prepared aircraft moves toward the runway
another routine morning becoming part of a global network of flights.

Aviation mornings are built on precision, coordination, and timing.

Have a smooth day y'all🤩

Good Morning Future Aviators 🤩

As the day opens, flights from Ethiopian Airlines begin their journeys from Addis Ababa, the airline’s main hub.
From this point, aircraft move outward in different directions:
to African cities like Nairobi and Lagos,
to Middle Eastern destinations like Dubai,
and to long-haul routes reaching London, Beijing, and beyond.

From one hub, the network spreads across the world every morning.

Wishing you a bright day ahead

🎯 AVIATION CAREER PATHS

A career in aviation is not a single road it is a network of paths, each with its own role in keeping flights moving safely and efficiently.

At Ethiopian Airlines, opportunities are built across different fields:

🌅 GOOD MORNING, FUTURE AVIATORS

Did you know?

Commercial aircraft don’t fly in random paths they follow structured “airways” in the sky.

These invisible routes are designed and monitored by Air Traffic Control to keep aircraft safely separated and organized, especially during busy hours.

Airlines like Ethiopian Airlines rely on these airways to move flights efficiently between continents, just like highways on the ground.

Each flight is assigned a specific route, altitude, and timing to avoid congestion and maintain smooth operations.

🛫 Even the sky has its own traffic system.

✈️ A SMALL SWITCH WITH A BIG PURPOSE

Inside every flight of Ethiopian Airlines, there’s a moment passengers hear a simple sound — “ding.”

That sound is not random.

🔔 It’s the seatbelt sign system, controlled from the cockpit.
Pilots turn it on when they expect turbulence, during climb, descent, or whenever safety requires passengers to stay seated.

But here’s what many don’t notice:
Cabin crew also use different “chime codes” to communicate with each other silently during the flight.

No announcements. No confusion. Just precise signals.

☀️ GOOD MORNING, FUTURE AVIATORS

Before an aircraft of Ethiopian Airlines leaves the gate, pilots do not simply start and fly.

Every morning flight begins with a detailed pre-flight process:
📡 weather analysis
🛫 route review
fuel calculations
📋 aircraft system checks

Even before passengers board, the cockpit is already active with planning and coordination.

🌍 A smooth flight often depends on decisions made long before takeoff.

In aviation, preparation begins before the engines do.

Have a nice day y'all 🤩

☀️ Good morning, future aviators.

Here’s something crazy about aviation
a modern commercial aircraft can fly for thousands of kilometers at nearly 900 km/h, crossing countries and oceans while carrying hundreds of people in one journey.

And the wild part?
From the cockpit to the runway, everything has to move with precision.
One wrong calculation and the whole operation ain’t gonna run smoothly.

That’s why airlines like Ethiopian Airlines train crews to focus on discipline, timing, and teamwork every single day.

Aviation ain’t just about flying it’s about handling pressure while the whole world moves around you.
