- Go to Settings → Security and Account Access
- Click on Apps and Sessions
Check and verify every connected app
(If it shows “Read Only”, it means it’s safe)
- If it shows “Read, Write, Direct Messages”, revoke access immediately

Note:
Before authorizing any Twitter app, always check the permissions.
If it says “Read Only”, it’s generally safe to connect.
