🇮🇳 Indian troops deployed in Abyei conducted an awareness session on pregnancy care for the women of Rumajak village
🏥 Led by Captain Jaspreet Kaur and Major Abhijith S, this initiative aimed to improve maternal health in the region, covering crucial topics like nutritional guidelines, health risks, and prenatal care.
🧍🏻♀️ Twenty-four women and nine girls attended the session, which was part of the Indian Battalion's commitment to community support and humanitarian efforts in Abyei.
🇸🇸-🇸🇩 The troops distributed handbooks to promote tracking pregnancy progress and medical check-ups, providing valuable tools for the participants.
🇺🇳 This initiative reflects the Indian Battalion's broader mandate under the United Nations to promote peace, stability, and welfare.
