👉 It will increase India’s maritime reach after Sittwe Port in Myanmar, which are both aimed at neutralizing China’s presence in the region.

Though the US has given us a sanction warning, when it comes to making these decisions, the Indian government has always maintained a “nation first” approach. Even during the Russia-Ukraine war, India was one of the very few countries that kept their ties with Russia. And we all have witnessed the outcome.

Iran’s Chabahar port is a key component of India’s connectivity initiatives, holding immense significance for the nation. It will give us a way to form strategic ties with central and western Asia, contributing effectively to the nation’s overall growth and global stance.
