Nepal has become the 101st country to join the International Solar Alliance-ISA as a full member
The International Solar Alliance
☀️ ISA is an intergovernmental organization aimed at promoting solar energy worldwide.
☀️ It was jointly launched by India and France during the COP21 Climate Conference in Paris in 2015.
Key Objectives-
☀️ Global Solar Deployment: Facilitate the deployment of over 1,000 GW of solar energy and mobilize investments of more than $1 trillion by 2030.
☀️ Promote Solar Applications: Encourage the use of solar technologies in various sectors, including agriculture, health, and transportation.
☀️ Affordable Financing: Work towards creating innovative financing mechanisms to make solar energy affordable and accessible.
☀️ Capacity Building: Promote research, development, and training programs to enhance the global solar energy ecosystem.
☀️ Policy Advocacy: Support countries in developing favorable policies and regulatory frameworks for solar energy.

The Delhi AAP Arvind Kejriwal government has banned the production, sale, and use of firecrackers in the national capital to control air pollution during the winter season. The ban will be enforced until January 1, 2025. 💥💥
in the interest of promoting good health, burning of stubble, garbage, scrap, bio medical waste is allowed and encouraged. As additional measures, no PUC would be insisted upon 🙂🙂

Exercise YudhAbhyas 2024
The 20th edition of the Bilateral Joint Military Exercise Yudh Abhyas between India & USA, commenced with the opening ceremony at Mahajan Field Firing Ranges, Rajasthan.
The opening ceremony was attended by Brigadier General Thomas Burke, Deputy Commander 11 Airborne Divison USArmy and Colonel Christopher Brawley, Brigade Commander 1st Brigade 11 Airborne Division.

including carbon sequestered in vegetation, microbial biomass, and dissolved and particulate organic matter.
🌟These ecosystems are recognized for their efficiency in carbon capture and storage, surpassing terrestrial forest ecosystems in this regard.
🌟They can store and sequester more carbon than any other type of terrestrial ecosystem.
