the coaching centers and PGs there, in most cases, will only drain your and your parents’ hard-earned money without offering anything better than studying at home.
In the 90s and 2000s, and before, people had no option but to move here to prepare.
It’s nothing but a 90s hangover coupled with narratives built on social media and OTT platforms that is pulling people here.
With the likely shutdown of basement libraries in ORN very soon, the only remaining logic for shifting here will be turned on its head.
Everything you need to know about UPSC prep, useful materials, peer groups, etc., can be found on Telegram and YouTube.
Why spend at least 20-30k a month and go through:
1.Pollution season (from Deepavali to Holi)
2.Dengue season (in monsoon)
3.Drinking water mixed with sewage water (anytime of the year) and resulting Typhoid, Jaundice season
4.Earthquake season (throughout the year, we haven’t seen a serious calamity yet, but it might take place anytime)
5.Urban Heat Island season in summers
And the risk of facing tragedies like the ones we have seen yesterday and 5 days back.
Stay at home or in your nearby town if you wish to prepare for this exam and stay as far away from Delhi as possible.
