LS Speaker Birla amends oath-taking rules after 'Jai Palestine', 'Jai Hindu Rashtra' slogans
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has constituted a committee to frame rules for "oath-taking and affirmation" for members. Members won't be allowed to use any word or expression as a prefix or suffix to the form of oath. Earlier, AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi, ended his oath with chants of "Jai Palestine", while BJP's Chhatrapal Singh Gangwar said "Jai Hindu Rashtra".
