"Hey guys, I genuinely want to share something with you. In this era of extensive social media use, everyone has a vast number of virtual friends, but we are all still alone. Many of us wear a fake smile. There’s a saying, ‘A smiling face doesn’t always mean we’re happy.’ Most people, even when surrounded by others, feel alone. And it’s in these situations that they may be compelled to take drastic steps because nothing is inherently right or wrong; everything depends on the circumstances, no matter what age you are.
I’m sharing this because if you have a friend, a social media friend, a colleague, or just someone you know who seems silent or anything, just ask them how they’re doing. Put your ego aside. Why not ask? Maybe your one step could help improve someone’s mental peace. (Why let an innocent person suffer when a simple question could prevent a wrongful punishment?) Your action could prevent someone from taking a wrong step. Not everyone needs advice; sometimes, they just need someone who can listen without being judgmental and without hurting their feelings. And if anyone wants to share their problems, you can share them in any group or on any social app. Maybe 10 people will judge or ignore you, but at least one person will understand."
Remember, it’s always good to reach out and offer a listening ear. You never know how much it could mean to someone. 🌟

India press freedom score falls, says Reporters sans Frontieres
Norway and Denmark topped the RSF table while Eritrea was at the bottom, with Syria just ahead of it.
India’s score in the World Press Freedom Index fell over the last year, from 36.62 to 31.28, according to Reporters Without Borders (RSF for Reporters sans Frontières), which puts together an annual index of freedom enjoyed by journalists in 180 jurisdictions. India’s rank improved from 161 in 2023 to 159 in 2024, but this was because other countries had slipped in their rankings. The government has in the past dismissed international rankings of freedoms in India as propaganda.
