๐พ union government has launched the CDP-SURAKSHA portal to streamline the subsidy disbursal system to horticulture farmers so as to give a major boost to horticulture farming in India under the cluster development program of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.
๐พSURAKSHA Stands for โSystem for Unified Resource Allocation, Knowledge, and Secure Horticulture Assistanceโ
๐พpublic & private banks are part of this initiative- SBI, HDFC, ICICI and Bank of Baroda.
๐พMoA&FW has identified 55 horticulture clusters.
The CDP-SURAKSHA has features such as database integration with PM-KISAN, NIC, UIDAI validation, eRUPI integration, local government directory, content management system, geotagging, and geo-fencing.
