The government has urged people to change their passwords immediately after a Cybernews report claimed that 16 billion login credentials were leaked in one of the world’s largest data breaches. It also advised people to enable multi-factor authentication (MFA), switch to passkeys where possible and run antivirus scans to detect and remove infostealer malware.

These include those from popular sites like Facebook, Google, Apple, Telegram, and even government-owned websites.
