Political science is a social science, hence the power we are discussing here is within social context. Power is a social construct. But to apply an anology with physical sciences, think of power here as similar to electrical power. How do you generate power?…
In 2016, hillary spent triple on election campaign compared to trump. And yet, Trump won.
Reason? Its not all about how much you spend, but also how you spend it. You can waste your wealth as a resource, without getting power in return.
Wealth is not power. It can not be considered it's equivalent because it doesn't automatically transforms itself into power in a guaranteed way, ever.

A lot of people confuse money = power. And this is why they end up with fallacies such as "Jews run the world" or Ambani/adani run india. Spoiler alert: they dont.
And this confusion happens because people have a bad understanding of what power is. Surely money can be invested to gain power, but that does not guarantee that such an investment will pay off, all investments are bets of course. Money can be a source of power, but that doesn't make it a power in itself.

Similarly, knowledge isn't power either.

While traveling on a typical Indian train, you must have noticed how random people in India unite over political discussions like "kon jeetega es bar."
So This time, i experienced the same,
An interesting discussion was happening, and I was silently listening to everything when suddenly one youngster said, "400 seats esliye chahiye kyuki savidhan change karna hai 😂 tabhi na savidhan change kar payenge."
And suddenly one question started roaming in mind. Really 400 seats are needed to change the constitution 😂 or 2/3rd seats which is around 363. And one of them was discussing like a Lawyer who knows every article of constitution 😂
