Gov. HAS AGREED ON ASSURING MSP ON 4 MORE CROPS.
It's good plan FOR Bharat.
Govt has put forth 5-year plan to purchase of Pulses (Tur, Urad, Masoor), Maize & Cotton crops by NCCF & NAFED at MSP ONLY after written agreement with Farmers &
There will be NO LIMIT on quantity purchased.
Understand importance of this proposal-
1. Increasing production of Pulses, Maize & Cotton is imp for Bharat's Self-sufficiency.
2. These crops are best suited for degraded soil in #Punjab & #Haryana. Anyways, no-one eats 3rd grade wheat marred with excessive fertilizers, produced in Punjab. MSP on these crops will encourage REAL Farmers to shift from Wheat which will help in maintaining soil productivity as well as to farmers.
3. Import bills will come down as Bharat is presently dependent on other countries for Pulses.

4. NO LIMIT....it works both ways. Maximum as well as Minimum. If quality is good, Govt will buy Maximum to ensure food basket for Social Schemes.
