India Confirms It Lost Fighter Jets in Recent Pakistan Conflict
India’s military confirmed for the first time that it lost an unspecified number of fighter jets in clashes with Pakistan in May, while saying the four-day conflict never came close to the point of nuclear war.

India won eight gold medals at Asian Athletics Championships 2025. Long-distance runner Gulveer Singh won two gold medals (men's 10,000m and men's 5,000m). Avinash Sable bagged gold in men's 3,000m Steeplechase, Jyothi Yarraji in women’s 100m hurdles, Nandini Agasara in heptathlon and Pooja Singh in women's high jump. India also bagged golds in mixed 4x400m relay and women’s 4x400m relay.
