Option 1: Turpentine oil is a common ingredient used as a thinner in paint to adjust its viscosity. It helps in achieving the desired consistency and flow of the paint.
Option 2: Poly-hydroxy phenols (anti-skinning agent)
Poly-hydroxy phenols are often used in paint as anti-skinning agents. They prevent the formation of a skin or crust on the surface of the paint when exposed to air. Anti-skinning agents are an essential component of paint.
Option 3: Thiourea (accelerator)
Thiourea is not typically used as an ingredient in paint. It is a chemical compound that can be used as an accelerator in various industrial processes, but it is not commonly found in paint formulations. Therefore, thiourea does NOT constitute paint.
Option 4: Titanium dioxide (pigment)
Titanium dioxide is a commonly used pigment in paint. It provides opacity and whiteness to the paint and is responsible for its color. Pigments are one of the primary components of paint.
