Karnataka just told the CBI, "You're not on the guest list!" It's like kicking a detective out of a crime scene because they might uncover your secret stash of questionable alibis!
Sorry, CBI, but it looks like you'll have to start sending "Will you let me investigate?" cards instead

https://www.thehindu.com/news/national/karnataka/karnataka-withdraws-general-consent-for-cbi-to-probe-cases/article68686850.ece

General consent for the CBI refers to the permission granted by state governments, allowing the agency to investigate cases without needing prior approval for each case.
It facilitates seamless operations, especially in corruption cases involving central government officials.
If a state withdraws this consent, the CBI must seek case-specific approval to conduct investigations within that state, significantly limiting its operational capacity.

This requirement stems from the Delhi Special Police Establishment Act of 1946, which mandates state consent for CBI jurisdiction outside Union territories.

Fan-throated lizards are found only in the Indian subcontinent, where they have evolved under the influence of changing climates.
Female lizards do not have a fan, while male lizards inflate their neck pouch to attract the female in the summer season.

India's defence industry achieved a significant milestone by producing over $15 billion worth of weaponry in the last financial year.

The Defence Minister credited this achievement to the Make-in-India initiative. Traditionally a major importer in the global arms market, India has recently shifted its focus towards domestic manufacturing and exports.

Kanglu fan Tiger Roby

- In Chennai he was openly shouting India=enemy, ICC=BCCI.

- In Kanpur he abused Siraj

Kanpur crowd had it enough and replied him in a language he understands.

Now entire Bangladesh is playing victim card as usual.

Bauxite
Production -
Three countries β€” Australia, Guinea, and China β€” dominate global bauxite production. They each produced around one-quarter of the total in 2023.

Reserves
Bauxite reserves show a very different geographical pattern. Guinea had the largest reserves in 2023, followed by Vietnam (which is a very small producer of bauxite).

China, the third largest producer of bauxite, has only a small amount of the world’s reserves.

Chromium

Production
South Africa produced over 40% of the total in 2023.

Kazakhstan, Turkey, India, and Finland were also large producers.

Reserves
The distribution of chromium reserves is a close reflection of global production.

Kazakhstan and South Africa hold most of the world’s reserves. India, Turkey, and Finland also have large quantities, but significantly less than the two leaders.
