Truly an inspiration for civil services aspirants.
Sadly though it is the truth. The majority of aspirants in this race are chasing behind this power, money and influence only. Remove these undeserving elitist entitlements from the profile, and see the number of people applying for this position dropping like flies.
This elitist system needs to be reformed, if not replaced entirely with something more efficient and transparent. We need to cultivate civil servants not new age feudal lords. And this goes not only for the bureaucracy but other public institutions as well.
