The chowk outside ISBT bus stand in Delhi's Sarai Kale Khan has been renamed after Bhagwan Birsa Munda on the tribal activist's 150th birth anniversary on Friday, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced. The chowk will now be called Birsa Munda Chowk. The decision was aimed at paying tributes to Birsa Munda, a tribal leader and freedom fighter from Jharkhand.
