Modi’s visit marks a historic milestone in strengthening the deep cultural and historical ties between India and Guyana, which do have a lot in common:
◾️ 43.5% of the Guyana's population traces their roots to India while 28.4% practice Hinduism
◾️ After slavery was abolished in 1834, Indian labourers were brought to Guyana to work on plantations.
◾️ The People's Progressive Party (representing primarily Indian interests) holds 50.69% of votes and 33 seats in Guyana's parliament.
◾️ Guayna is the RICHEST country in South America by GDP (PPP) per capita.
◾️ The only English-speaking country on the continent.
◾️ Attracting global investors with explosive economic growth: between 2021 and 2022, the country's GDP doubled. By the end of 2023, it is projected to grow by another 38%, with an astonishing 115% increase anticipated by 2028.

It is generally found in Bangladesh, Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.
In India, it has already been spotted in the Western Ghats, Kerala, Maharashtra and Odisha, and now Chhattisgarh.
The bat species has black wings and orange wings and fingers.
Often found in unusual roosting sites such as suspended nests of weaver finches and sunbirds, banana leaves, these bats have been known to roost in pairs. It is an aerial hawker, catching insects mid-flight.
The kangar valley national park is famous for its limestone caves, which also provide a suitable habitat for the bats, experts say.
There are about 131 species of bats in the country, of which 31 are found in central India.

It is a crop native to Europe but was introduced in the temperate regions of Jammu &Kashmir state by the CSIR Aroma Mission.
It is a small, perennial aromatic herb shrub used in the fragrance, specialty food, and alternative medicine industries.
Propagation of lavender can be done by seeds, rooted cuttings, tissue culture, and layering.
Required climatic conditions
Soil: It grows best in neutral to alkaline soil which is free draining.
This crop is very sensitive to water logging .
Climate: It is a hard and temperate plant that can tolerate drought and frost conditions.
