HSRP High-Security Registration Plate๐:
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways introduced the High-Security Registration Plate (HSRP) in 2001, and it has been a significant step towards ensuring security and safety on Indian roads. The HSRP plate is made up of special 1mm aluminium that is laminated with white or yellow reflective sheets.
What is HSRP?
The High-Security Registration Plate (HSRP) is a tamper-proof vehicle registration/number plate that is made up of aluminium, having a chromium-based hologram, hot-stamped alpha-numerals with retro-reflective sheet, and a laser-etched PIN (laser code). HSRP is now compulsory in India for all vehicles. According to a recent notification, there were around 4 million registered cars without HSRP before 2012 in Delhi alone.
HSRP Registration Procedure
Vehicle owners can register for their number plates through the official website of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways or get them from authorized vendors in their respective states.
Benefits of HSRP
The availability of vehicle registration data will become easy for Enforcement Agencies, which will be helpful in traffic management. Details that are provided by the vehicle owner for HSRP registration include the engine number, model number, copy of valid insurance, and chassis number, among others. These plates are tamper-proof and make it quite easy for the vehicle owner to trace their vehicle in case it is stolen.
HSRP Registration Fees
The HSRP registration fee for two-wheelers is Rs. 400, while for four-wheelers, it is Rs. 1100. The fees for four-wheeler vehicles depend on the category of the vehicle.
HSRP 2023- Color Code Stickers
The Indian Government has made HSRP mandatory for all Indian citizens. Along with HSRP, colour-coded stickers are also mandatory for vehicles having a windscreen.

Soda Lakes:
โญ Soda Lakes are alkaline lakes with high concentrations of sodium carbonate and other alkaline salts, often formed in endorheic basins where water doesn't drain to the sea.
โญ They exhibit high pH levels, typically between 9 and 12, making them some of the most alkaline natural environments on Earth.
โญ Geographical Distribution: Found in arid or semi-arid regions, notable examples include Lake Natron (Tanzania), Mono Lake (USA), and the Lonar Crater Lake (India).
โญ Endorheic Nature: These lakes are often located in closed basins where water is lost primarily through evaporation.
โญ Ecology: Soda lakes host extremophiles, organisms adapted to extreme alkaline conditions, such as halophilic bacteria and algae.
โญ Bird Habitat: They are crucial for bird species, especially flamingos, which feed on the algae and use the lakes as breeding grounds.

Morons. Letโs get a few things straight. First off, filling these posts through traditional methods is impossible because lateral entry is meant for seasoned professionals, who'll bring expertise and new perspective in the service. And not for those already spoon-fed their way into the service and lack expertise in specific fields, irrespective of their castes. Second, who even claimed that SC/ST individuals are barred from lateral entry? Apply and get it done.
And on the topic of the caste census- why doesnโt Khargeji start by revealing the caste of Raul Baba first? Which illustrious caste does our dear "Janeu-dhari" Rahul Firoz Vinchi belong to? Maybe that would clear things up for everyone.
As a society, one would hope we'd be progressing beyond the archaic shackles of castes. Yet, here we are, watching these buffoons insisting on dragging us back into the mud, making sure caste is at the center of everything.
