SEDENA CZ 805 Bren in the hands of cartel sicarios
Shown here is a 5.56 CZ 805 Bren in the hands of a member of the Gente del R5 (GDR5) based in Los Reyes, Michoacán. It has been fitted with a 37mm underbarrel firework launcher modified to fire 40mm grenades.
Looking closer, the rifle and magazines are marked as property of SEDENA (Secretariat of National Defence).

Agent Condorito
CJNG sicarios from the “R Command Special Forces” under the command of R1, son of Tio Lako The Colombian flag suggests one of them is Colombian, possibly ex military, who are in demand for their skillset and experience, especially former Colombian soldiers…

Gente del R5 sicario in Los Reyes, Michoacán, armed with an M249 SAW (also an M240 in the third pic).
He is actually a nephew of R5 aka Wicho (LUIS ENRIQUE BARRAGÁN CHÁVEZ).
Also, note the Ukrainian flag patch on his shoulder, likely obtained from one of the Colombian former military GDR5 members who previously served in Ukraine.

Recent drone footage uploaded by the TikTok account "boomfdy", affiliated with sicarios of the Gente del R5 shows them dropping a different type of drone munition designed to start fires and burn Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación sicarios out of their positions.
To my knowledge, this is the first documented use of this type of munition in Mexico.

3D printed FGC-9 recovered in Brazil 🇧🇷
Yesterday, Military police and Federal Highway police stopped a vehicle believed to be carrying weapons and drugs on the BR-364 highway. Two occupants were arrested after 70 Kg of cocaine paste was found alongside 250 grams of marijuana.
Also inside the vehicle was a 9mm Glock pistol and a 3D printed FGC-9 submachine gun. 3D printed weapons and the FGC-9 in particular have become much more common in Brazil over the last year, being seized regularly by law enforcement.
Several illicit 3D printing operations have been shut down and manufacturers are developing their own signature styles of weapons.

Another interesting weapon that caught my eye recently was an airsoft FN Scar L turned into a live firing 9mm. This was recovered in the Campo do Milho neighbourhood of Salvador, Bahia, after police were fired upon by a group during regular patrols. One suspect was wounded and later died in hospital.
The shell can be identified as a Vigor 8902A Scar L spring operated airsoft rifle. The magazine appears to be craft made. Per the Impro Guns blog, several of these have been recovered in Bahia in recent months. Slides 6 and 7 show two more examples, made with the same airsoft Scar shell.
