Durango: Mayiza sicario with his emotional support monkey
In the sierras of Durango, a sicario from the Mayiza branch of the Sinaloa cartel can be seen with his pet spider monkey.
Spider monkeys are not uncommon as pets for a certain demographic (narcos), along with other exotic animals. They are occasionally offered up for sale in various online channels.
Many of you will be familiar with the narco spider monkey killed in a 2022 shootout between the Familia Michoacana and state police (DEP Changuito 🥺).

Sinaloa: Fuerzas Especiales Unión (FEU) between CJNG and Los Chapitos
Shown here is a group of sicarios belonging to the FEU alliance between CJNG and Los Chapitos, active in Sinaloa.
Three sicarios can be seen wearing the FEU logo hats (old post featuring them), and one with the CJNG IAG (Iván Archivaldo Guzmán Salazar) patch. Most can be seen with yellow ribbon on their gear, used to recognise friendly forces.
80 and 81 refers to brothers El Gabito and El Casco, who are Chapiza commanders in Sinaloa, warring with rival factions from the Mayiza.

Fortaleza, Brazil: Two drone grenade attacks in the last two days
Last night, around 7pm, a drone dropped a grenade outside of a home in the Curió neighbourhood of Fortaleza. The explosion damaged a wall but missed the people nearby, with no injuries reported.
This came after another drone dropped grenade on Wednesday, where another home in Gereba was targeted. This attack also damaged the property, but failed to injure the family inside or their 7 year old daughter.
Both attacks are believed to have been carried out by the Honda Troop of the Red Command (CV), targeting rival territory held by Massa/Tudo Neutro.
The lack of damage from these attacks is due to the quality of grenades used by the gangs, which are mostly craft made. As the drone attacks continue in Brazil, we will likely see dedicated drone drop munitions in the future.

Military police recovered three rifles and drugs from the Duque de Caixas region of Rio de Janeiro.
One of them can be seen with an EOTech style optic and a magnifier, except they are both on backwards 😅.
Third pic shows a correctly setup example.

Female affiliated with the Guerreros faction of CJNG
Shown here is a female CJNG member affiliated with the Guerreros faction, which is under the command of Tio Lako (Heraclio Guerrero Martínez).
She can be seen posing with weapons and tactical gear, including a plate carrier with patches showing her affiliations to the Guerreros faction and Fuerzas Especiales Tio Lako. It also mentions the Comando de Pay (Payiza) and Grupo de Choque (shock group).
The number of female cartel members, especially those closer to the violence, is definitely on the rise.

Sinaloa: Mayiza sicarios seen arming a drone
In this footage, sicarios from the Mayiza branch of the Sinaloa cartel can be observed attaching an improvised drop munition to DJI drone somewhere in Sinaloa, likely near Cosalá.
This is a DJI Matrice 30 series drone, piloted with a DJI RC Plus series controller. The munition can be seen with two impact fuzes, for detonation, and stabilising fins for a smooth drop. There is also something wrapped around the body of the munition, possibly extra shrapnel or just something to make transport easier.
The cameraman can be heard referring to the “Chapozetas”, which is a derogatory nickname for their rivals from the Chapitos branch of the Sinaloa cartel.
