A friend serving in Ukraine confirmed this patch is from Ukrainian supplier M-Tac Possibly brought to Mexico by one of the Colombians who served in Ukraine, although it can also be bought online in the US and Europe
This particular dronero has also been spotted wearing a drone related patch from Ukrainian supplier M-Tac. The patch, which reads: “☠️ Warning, drones zone” was possibly brought to Mexico by one of the former Colombian servicemen who also served in Ukraine, before being recruited by CJNG.

Picture 3 shows a large number of these improvised explosives recovered in Santa Cruz de Elota in early March, where a total of 98 improvised explosives were recovered, alongside a .50 cal Barrett anti materiel rifle, two light machine guns and 15 rifles.

Sinaloa: Cartel sicario seen evacuating wounded teammate under enemy drone fire
In this footage, a drone operator of the Mayiza faction of the Sinaloa Cartel can be seen targeting rivals, most likely from the Chapiza branch of the Sinaloa cartel.
The drone can be seen dropping an improvised explosive munition towards a rival, who successfully flees. He then comes back to a tree, where an injured teammate has presumably been sheltering, after which he evacuates the injured teammate.
The footage is possibly old, as the date shown states it was filmed in December of 2025, however, it was posted online yesterday.

In this footage, an “Explosivista” from CJNG’s Grupo Delta can be seen disarming a previously set anti personnel mine somewhere in Michoacán.
The pressure plate of the mine can be seen sticking out of the ground slightly, as the Explosivista lowers himself to the ground, to disarm it.
After disconnecting the power source, he removes the mine from the ground, showing the body of the IED. His friend can be heard saying that the “gift” was disarmed.

This exact style of IED was discovered by a routine military patrol in Apatzingán, Michoacán, in November of 2025, which I previously posted about. Pictures 5 and 6 are from the Apatzingán seizure, showing the body, made up of PVC tubing from domestic manufacturer Plasticos KYO. The same pressure plate and cables are visible.
People speculated that the discovery in Apatzingán was a fake “montaje”, staged by rivals or authorities, due to the use of the CJNG name on the mines. As it turns out, they actually are that stupid.
