Grupo de Reacción Bruno sicarios (GDRB ☣️) in Zacatecas
The video shows gear carried by GDRB sicarios; including an AK pattern rifle with a drum magazine, fragmentation grenade and an M18 smoke grenade. Based on the -OW ending and yellow details at the top of the body, this is a Yellow colour smoke grenade.
Smoke grenades are typically used to conceal positions during combat, allowing for movement under fire, or to mark enemy locations.
The GDRB is part of the Mayiza branch of the Sinaloa cartel, operating primarily in Zacatecas and Durango.

Durango 🇲🇽: Mayiza sicarios on the move
In this footage, a group of sicarios from the Mayiza branch of the Sinaloa cartel can be seen on patrol somewhere in the state of Durango.
Dressed in full tactical gear, they can be seen holding various weapons, including a .50 cal Barrett anti materiel rifle and an M240 machine gun with the front passenger and driver, respectively. Notably, most of the weapons feature red tape, used to identify friendly forces, something that has become fairly common in Mexico.
The use of a Starlink terminal on the dashboard is also notable, which has become standard practice for cartels over the last year.

Bahia, Brazil 🇧🇷: Gang turning airsoft FN Scars into live firing weapons arrested
In Salvador, Bahia, an operation by the Civil Police last week busted a gang turning airsoft FN Scars into live firing 9mm SMGs. These weapons have been regularly popping up in Bahia in recent months, with multiple seizures (see previous post).
Operation Clandestine Forge located two properties used by the gang, one of which was the manufacturing site. Two suspects were arrested, one male and one female, with the tools, machinery and components used to manufacture the craft made weapons.
Now that we get a better look at the weapons, they are fairly crude homemade SMGs encased inside the body of an airsoft Vigor 8902A Scar-L. The suspects would order them online, with one purchasing 87 units, another ordering 30 units and a third suspect bought more than 50, as well as the components for the 9mm SMGs.
A homemade 12 gauge shotgun was also recovered, as well as two blocks of marijuana.
