After more than two months of development, the Agates Network project has reached an important crossroads. Following careful deliberation by our board of directors and management team, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily pause the project. This step will allow us to reassess our strategic planning and business model to ensure the long-term success of Agates Network.
We understand that this is not an easy decision, but it is necessary due to the following reasons:
1️⃣ Platform Restrictions: Google and Apple's policy limitations on blockchain projects have prevented the Agates Network app from being listed in their app stores, severely impacting our user growth.
2️⃣ Revenue Challenges: Due to restrictions from platforms like Admob and Facebook regarding "revenue-sharing with users", the project has been unable to generate a healthy cash flow, limiting our ability to expand.
3️⃣ Regulatory Environment: With tightening blockchain regulations in certain countries, OKX, one of our indirect investment partners, has faced obstacles that have affected the business outlook of the Agates Network project.
Given these challenges, we have made the decision to temporarily suspend the Agates Network project for a period of 3-6 months, depending on our progress in addressing these issues.
During this time, the community group will be placed in read-only mode. However, if you have any questions, please feel free to email us at contact@agates.ai, and we will respond promptly.
We sincerely thank each and every one of you for your unwavering support over the past two months.
Rest assured, all user data from the Agates Network project will be preserved and fully restored when the project resumes.
